Made in California's only remaining outdoor solera(that we know of!). Referred to as "oloroso" style. This is not your mom's cooking sherry! Our sherry stays in retired bourbon barrels from 3 to 5 years before it is bottled. The grape is Palemino, 1.7 acres are planed. This is a creamy, sweet sherry which will be a favorite at your dinner parties, whether you serve it as an after dinner drink or pour it over ice cream and berries. It contains 8 to 12% residual sugar and the taste is of roasted hazelnut, almond and caramel with a smooth, long finish.
